A hero of mine since childhood past away today at the age of 50. My 1st memory of music was Michael Jackson. I used to try and sing his songs and dance at family parties copying his every move. So many would talk about his circus like lifestyle but never really gave him his propers on being a great humanitarian. He was and will always be a legend and I will always miss him. Rest in peace Michael Jackson.

Trip to SoCal
This past Memorial weekend the family took a lil trip out to Southern California to visit family. We were deep too...5 cars deep. Following eachother during the trip was fun though. Here is a picture my wife took during the drive.

Fally at Hip-Hop dance class
My wife and I went thru our city's activity guide and asked our girls what they wanted to get into for the summer. Ella (turning 3 in June) said Ballet and Fallon (5 years old) said Hip-Hop dance. Unfortunately we werent in time for sign ups for Ella's ballet class, so were thinking of letting her give Hula dancing a try this Thursday. They are also taking swim lessons on Saturdays. Even William (almost a year old) is taking swimming. Heres a picture I took with my phone of Fallon doing Hip-Hop.

Bras for the Cause
This past Saturday was the "Bras for the Cause" walk in Pleasanton Ca. My wife Zenia was on the "Cuties for Pink Boobies" team that represented my cousin Michelle. Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer a little over a year ago and I am happy to say that her last visit to the medical office was a great one! After all of her visits and chemo appointments she is now in remission. I always said that if there was anyone that could beat cancer it would be my strong ass cousin Chelly! The fundraiser was a huge success and team "Cuties" recieved first place
by raising $7,000!
This is my wife Zenia after the 6 mile walk...I would have needed an ambulance after that walk, but I guess Z is in way better shape than I am!

Homie Name Dropping #1
So I text'd some of my friends and asked them to throw out some names of someone they wanted me to draw...I just had to practice drawing characters that I wouldnt normally do. They had good choices too...this one is Bill Gates and Autobot Hot Rod for Babble and Arkadi. I had lots of trouble drawing these guys. Gates didnt come out how I planned and Hot Rod kinda threw me off a bit. I'm not used to all the straight, boxy lines robots usually have. So, this is what I came up with. Next on my list in no particular order are: M.I.A, Sade and John Mayer.

Who has lots of fingers?
This is a cover I did for a Hip-Hop producer named 6fingers. The title is "Who has lots of fingers". You can download it for free somewhere...prolly be easier to go to his blog joints @6fingersblog.blogspot.com. They say nothing in life is free? Well dude does it again by shockin em with free, good music. This cover was hella fun to do. We even had to go McGruber on the project and scan a piece of flat wood.
Boys of Summer
I was never really a Baseball fan, but this season for some reason I've been really into my hometown team the Giants. I know the names of all the players and positions they play, I know our starting line-up, and I know the pitchers' rotations. I can even sit and watch a whole ball game on TV! Before it used to be so boring to me...I guess thats just signs of me gettin older huh? A perfect day for me would be at the ball park in the afternoon with the family just relaxing and enjoying the game. Kinda like those men who go to the games with newspapers taking notes of stats and what not. Anyways, I was inspired to try and draw some Bay Area players...Zito and old skool Will "The Thrill" Clark from the Giants and Mr. 40/40 himself, Jose Canseco. That was my homie 6fingers' favorite player.
